Raised in a magic shop in a rural, multi-ethnic family, Kameron Messmer’s unique perspective is channeled through his genre defying art. Recently, he has earned praise as Portland's "Best Balloon Artist" for his mind and heart expanding sculptures which are not only colorful, eye-catching creations but serve as much needed interventions of JOY in these heavy and difficult times.

LOVE IS IN THE AIR PDX

“Love is in the Air” is an experiential, experimental, interactive, immersive, art installation gallery. It is a popup art installation created, financed and produced by “Portland’s best Balloon Artist” Kameron Messmer. Located inside Pioneer Place, and ran Friday the 11th - Monday the 14th, Valentines day. Kameron’s lifelong mission as an artist is to spread joy through creating immersive, magical experiences.
Found in the former GAP location at Pioneer Place shopping center, visitors took hundreds of pictures inside the 10,000 square foot space with multiple art installation photo walls.

Experience “Snow much Joy” immersive interactive balloon art installation with Portland Playhouse during their run of  “A Christmas Carol” this Christmas season.
Artist Kameron Messmer is creating an immersive art installation complete with a flurry of snow balloons and photo wall.
Portland Playhouse is hosting “Snow Much Joy” during their run of Christmas Carol. Patrons will be checked for vaccination and temperature before immersing themselves in a winter wonderland make of balloons and light.
